One of my earliest memories is getting caught in my mother's makeup

In the second grade, I confiscated her Avon representative instructional videos.  After that, not only could I apply a full face of makeup but I could sell it to you as well

As time went on, makeup became my hobby; It was something I did for fun on my friends before we went out or I'd take them shopping for a makeup bag makeover...  Once we started to grow up I began to doll them up for weddings and special occasions.  As word travelled I soon found that I had a nice little side business going for myself

In the process of becoming an adult I gravitated toward the beauty industry thirsty for knowledge (how does this work, and why do I need it?) and currently work in Research and Development for one of the most respected and prestigious cosmetics companies in the world

 I've decided that one of my greatest personal satisfactions comes from the part I play in improving one's self confidence through makeup and hairstyling
